Amazon Deals: inFAMOUS bundle and new JVG store

Posted by Stefan Crowe On May - 25 - 2009

main-amazon-justvideogamesThis is the start of a new feature for Just Video Games, which sees several new functions added in cooperation with Amazon, this particular one being a weekly round up of some of the most exciting deals Amazon is offering at the time. Currently, the products and deals are all based on the UK Amazon site, but I’ll be adding support for the US in the near future. We have also officially opened a Just Video Games Store (see the new menu item at the top of the page).

You may have noticed that many gaming websites have started touting the new inFAMOUS PS3 bundle, which coincidentally, has been on show in the JVG sidebar for several days now. The package includes the PlayStation 3 (no shit sherlock), a dual shock controller and a copy of inFAMOUS, the new electrically charged sandbox game, exclusive to Sony’s console. You can pick up the deal for £279.99 at the moment, which is a great price for the console, yet alone packaged with this brilliant game, especially when inFAMOUS itself is on pre-order for £39.99.

Both the bundle and standalone versions are set to release on May 29, 2009. Currently the bundle is exclusive to Europe, but we’ll try to find out if a similar package might make its way stateside in the future.

Before I finish off, I also wanted to point out that the Ghostbuster video game is currently on pre-order for £32.96 (PS3), £29.96 (Wii) and £34.99 (Xbox 360), a brilliant price for the PS3 version if you ask me, as this game looks set to reignite the Ghostbusters franchise. The game will be released June 19, 2009 in the UK.
