2k Games have announced the official release dates for their underwater, rapture follow-up, Bioshock 2. Via an update to the Bioshock 2 Twitter account, the following message was conveyed to us all:
“BioShock 2 has a release date! Expect it on shelves October 30th internationally, and November 3rd in North America.”
This was also confirmed in a recent haul of financial and content updates released by 2k Games. Bioshock 2 is set to continue on from the previous iteration, while also explaining some of the story pre-Bioshock. This time around gamers will actually play as a Big Daddy, one of the more notroious enemy types from the first instalment.
