We have been playing Call of Duty 4 for some time now and we have been able to pick up some neat tips and tricks which we want to share with you. Our obsession with the game does not look like slowing any time soon and it seems that we are not the only ones. It was recently reported that COD4 is out performing Halo 3 on the xbox 360. We want to share our discoveries with you and help you become a master with a rifle or indeed a knife or a pistol.
The list of Call of Duty 4 tips and tricks is listed below and is aimed at novice and intermediate gamers.
- Use silenced weapons to ensure that your weaponary fire does not show up on the map. This makes it more difficult for enemies to find your position.
- Use the map to locate your enemies. The map shows the layout of the area and when enemies fire their weapons you can see where they are situated.
- Often players frequent the same spot so visit there spots frequently. This is especially true with snipers.
- Use the martodom perk where possible. This drops a grenade by yourside when you are killed. You will be suprised by how many people get caught out by this, even the pros.
- Plant claymores around doors and place one a small distance behind the other, let your opponent see the first one as they will be caught out by the second one.
- Dont wait in same spot, get out there and pick off them bad boys. You will kill more if you are constantly on the move.
- If you run out of bullets, don’t waste time reloading in the face of your enemy, just swap to your secondary weapon.
- When moving between objects sprint and when not moving around use the crouch position to make it more difficult for an enemy to strike you.
- Be aware of your surroundings at every moment – the amount of knife slashing in COD 4 is unbelievable, though it is very satisfying.
- If you are having little luck with your current weapon why not pick one up off the floor and use that.
- Use your environment, blend in where possible. Remember that opponents will easily pick up on fast movements in the open.

Getting Red and Blue Tiger camo for your weapon at a low level is a plus. If you just want to stay your first 55, just try getting 75 or 150 headshots with all weapons for cool looks and you don’t have to do it later.
Juggernaut and Martyrdom is for freaking pansies, ’nuff said.

I’ve been playing COD4 on my computer for a couple weeks now…beat the game in 2 days(on easy level but still)…then beat it on regular just by going back and doing one act at a time. So I’m pretty good when playing single player. I got on tonight to play multiplayer and damn…I kept getting shot in under a minute every time. What the heck is going on…it’s dang near impossible! Are they using cheats or are they really that freakin good?
I am crap at COD deathmatch but I love it. There are loads of techniques as listed above. ANother is using “Bouncing Betty grenades is a great way of securing some kills. You need to get promoted to access them. Keep killing!!
Martyrdom and last stand are for pussies that cant kill man to man.
You are not good if u beat the singleplayer on easy or regular. lal.
