You may be familiar with my articles on game copying and back ups. As you can tell from the articles I believe backing up games can be a valid purpose for making copies of games, but don’t tend to practice it too much myself.
However, that being said, I have made copies of games before and when I do make copies I want them to be damn good. Not so I can sell them off or anything illegal, just because if I make a back up I want the abck up to be as good as the original.
The first step is to make the disc itself look good using CD printing. There are generally to methods of doing this. You can either buy a sticker label pack, which has CD labels that you can print directly on to, or you can invest in a Lightscribe CD/DVD drive.
Lightscribe compatible CD drives allow you to copy a CD or DVD as normal, but then you flip the disc over and print directly on to the CDs label. This is by far the superior of the two CD printing techniques.
The next step is to find a good image copy of the DVD or CD cover, print it off and trim the paper down to fit the case.
