Condemned 2: Bloodshot – Videos from the wild

Forget Manhunt, this game takes the crown for sickest video game. Condemned is on its way to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and is expected later this year. You play as the deranged Ethan Thomas who is an unstable and disgraced serial crimes unit investigator. Ethan is faced with the dilemma of his life – give into his demons or fight with extreme force in order to continue living.

Condemned 2 features some awesome but horrifying in your face combat styles which would even frighten the life out of a hardened war veteran. Everything goes and you can hear bones breaking, blood trickling and heads rolling. We have seen nothing like this before. The game also features an online player mode which is set to feature four game play modes. These modes have not been confirmed. Ethan also has access to a whole host of weapons. These are not your conventional weapons folks. You can use bricks, tires and yes even toilets seats. How gross is that. Nothing like a bit of poo flying at you, hey. You do also get some conventional weapons but in comparison they sound a little boring.

The aim of the game is solve crimes, so you have to search crime scenes and look for clues. It has very much a resident evil feel to it but with much more innovation. You are rewarded with new items when you solve crimes or find new clues. You essentially own your investigations and control the direction of the game. Lets not be fooled though, the game is all about gore and guts and contains plenty of action to keep us entertained.

Recently Games Radar where given access to the first three levels of the game. Below is some of the footage from this event. We were blown away by what we sore on these videos. We were not expecting this. The levels of violence were spectacular and although we are not supposed to condone violence we cant help but love the look and feel of this game. It looks like gamers could have some serious fun. The real question is, will the game get through the regularity authorities. Manhunt had problems so this could face the same fate. This game is set to be a real highlight for this year and we can’t wait. How did we all miss this one!!
