The first Fifa 09 details have started to emerge. When it comes to football games we are firmly sat in the Pro Evo camp but as responsible journalists we are willing to give this latest instalment a chance. The last time we enjoyed Fifa was with the 07 version so what will this new version bring and will it bring back any of the magic from the 07 version.
According to a US magazine Fifa 09 has considerably improved gameplay elements such as passing, dribbling, tackling and general pushing and shoving. They must have been taking tips off Didier Drogba when making that part of the game. The magazine also states that there are drastic improvements in the speed and flow of animations. The last version was certainly guilty of a few stutters.
Customisation is also heavily featured in the new version of Fifa. You can enhance the way players look and play and add whole new skill sets to players. Think we might need to add a few tears to John Terry’s face. You would never have guessed we were united fans.
As usual there is a lot of talk surrounding this game but whether it lives up to the hype or not remains to be seen.
