I just wanted to talk about the gaming-related clothing you see around now. It isn’t extraordinary to see someone walking around with a picture of Mario or some other iconic gaming character on their chest nowadays (on their clothes not actually tattooed on their chest, although that might be the case too).
Pan back 15 or so years and you wouldn’t be caught dead wearing clothes that suggest you like video games. You would have been shunned by anyone who knew anyone else (except other game clothes wearing people).
Obviously now that gaming is more of the norm and everyone has at least dabbled in this great pastime, even our nan’s are getting in there with the Wii apparently. This has led to a whole fashion of gaming design hoodies and T-shirts.
I think the has also been egged on by the fact you can by custom design hoodies and other clothes pretty much everywhere online. Obviously online access plus customisation is going to result in some pretty geeky outcomes.
I have to admit I have a couple of game design hoodies in my wardrobe, but I am proud of that fact. So get out there and explore the world of gaming and the clothing it has created.
