The product is brought to you by Project Triforce. It should be available in time for Christmas, but don’t jump on this baby yet. This little guy will cost you, hold your breath, $549.99! To some this might seem like a small price to pay for this brilliantly crafted piece of art. To everyone else it seems like a big waste of money.
Drew Seldin, a spokesman for TriForce said “By using a design maquette created by Chris Perna, we knew we were giving fans the truest version of the Locust Drone possible. To complement Chris’ design, we brought in Jordu Schell, a special effects master who has worked on some of Hollywood’s most memorable creatures.”
So, if you fancy having this friendly-looking alien on your mantelpiece, go ahead and spend the equivalent of buying a Wii and Xbox 360 combined (with change to spare).
