The consumer electronics show was a big event for Sony as they showed off both Skype and GPS feature for their portable video games machine, the psp. The psp in Japan has supported GPS functionality for some time now but now Sony is preparing to release the software for the US market. We are also hopeful that Sony will release the GPS support in the UK.

The GPS software will be available on UMD and come with a variety of features. The GPS software will provide users with 2D/3D locations, downloadable city guides, driving directions and much more. The software is also fully customisable in order to meet consumer demands. There is no official release date as of yet but we will keep you posted.
