The details on GTA IV multiplayer have finally been spilled and yes the game will feature a 15-player mode. The news was broken in a recent Spanish edition of PSM3 magazine. It would be easy to think that the 16-player support would be the only headline-grabbing feature but that is simply not the case. The geniuses at Rockstar have come up with a whole host of game modes and groovy ways to keep you entertained.
To start with Rockstar have enabled character customisation so that you can create your perfect online character. You may wish to become an ass kicking gangster or a smooth business man who has to get his hands dirty every once in a while. The character creation unit allows you to customise everything from persons facial features down to the clothes that they are wearing.
Now the news you have been really waiting for. What game modes are available? Well there will be the obvious ones such as team and single player death matches but developers Rockstar have also thrown in a few extras just for fun. The bizarre list includes race mode, four player co op fights against the police and hangmans noose which is based on one of the single player levels. There is also some time based games were you have to complete a set of tasks before your opponent does. These extra game modes should keep gamers occupied for hours.
