On the latest episode of the GameTrailers TV show at roughly 19 minutes 30 seconds, it is reported by the presenter, Geoff Keighley, that the eagerly awaited Heavy Rain will be coming “next year”. Was this a simple slip of the tongue, maybe he simply meant “over the next year” or something similar? If so, this could mean an even longer wait for PlayStation fans who have been watching this title progress from the brilliant teaser shown a couple of years ago.
It had been thought that the game might be seeing its exclusive debut on the PlayStation 3 some time in 2009, the video shows off some of the bits from the recently released trailer, along with some other new bits.
Leaving Heavy Rain behind for a moment, there’s also a glimpse of the next Gears of War 2 DLC.
