Sony has come up with a genuine contender to Nintendo’s Wii bowling. High Velocity is the ultimate bowling game that uses the full extent of the six axis controller. Sony realised that they could transform the controller into a bowling ball by turning it on its side and using the shoulder and triangle buttons. Early reports suggest that this is an extremely addictive game that offers the same levels of interaction offered by Nintendo’s Wii bowling. High Velocity also features a four player mode and fully supports 1080dpi.
Sony has also incorporated a whole host of rather unusual characters for you to play with. These range from fat poorly dressed men to small girls who can barely hold the ball. The video below shows you some in game footage of High Velocity.

High Velocity is expected to be released in April of this year and gamers will be able to get a copy of the game via the Playstation store. This should hopefully mean that the game will have a low retail price. Get your bowling shoes on guys, High Velocity is on its way.
