Some of you may have come across a website claiming to have released a piece of online software that will give a user access to the Home Beta. All you need to do is enter your PSN account username and password. Surprisingly enough, people do fall for these scams.
No websites ask you for your username and password unless you are actually logging in to the website, even then you should only do it on a trusted website.
The website states that if you give them your account details you will receive a redemption code to enter the Home Beta. This is a lie. By doing this you give whoever runs the website full access to your account, including any credit card information tied to that account.
DO NOT USE THIS OR SIMILAR WEBSITES.
SONY WILL NOT EMAIL YOU ASKING FOR YOUR PASSWORD
