Improved Red Alert 3 Coming to Red Alert 3 Next Year

Red Alert 3 was released for both the Xbox 360 and PC earlier this month. Red Alert 3 marks, as the name suggests, the third outing in the Red Alert universe of the Command & Conquer game franchise.

It has supposedly transitioned quite well from PC to Xbox 360, although I believe this game deserves to be played with a keyboard and mouse for it to work to its optimal performance. However, if you are a console-only owner, or would simply prefer to own a console version, and you only own the PlayStation 3 console then you are in luck.

EA has announced that the PS3 version of Red Alert 3 is back under development after being put on hold to perfect the PC and Xbox 360 versions. In compensation for the delay it seems EA are including 1080p output and “a lot of cool content” according to a spokesperson at EA. They also go on to praise the Sony console saying they can add more features because of the “high-defness of Blu-Ray and also the fact that it can hold just so much more space”.
