Guerrilla Games has announced the next patch that will be hitting the beautiful Killzone 2. The version 1.24 patch will bring a host of new things to KZ2, with specific feature standing out. One of the better items on the changelog is the addition of new multiplayer ranks. There are three in total and are sure to please those of you who have already reached the General rank, which is highly criticised because of it’s easiness to obtain.
The list is huge, especially for an update that only changes the version number by a few hundredths of a point. Rather than pasting the whole list you can check it out for yourself on the official PlayStation Forums where it was posted by Seb Downie, producer at GG.
According to Seb, we can expect to see the update on Wednesday, 22nd April at 8AM GMT. This is because one of the features allows current copies of Killzone 2 to communicate with the soon-to-be-released Japanese version.
The patch also adds the support required for the upcoming DLC, the “Steel and Titnaium” map pack.
The v1.24 update will be approximately 57MB.
