A patch has been released for any of you guys that managed to get hold of LittleBigPlanet early. The patch is version 1.02 and isn’t large. I assume that anyone that buys the postponed copies of the game will have this patch automatically included.
The patch includes the 1.01 update added characters and costumes. But more importantly, it removes the lyrics that caused the LittleBigDelay, which has got people riled up. The song, “Tapha Niang”, hasn’t completely been removed, instead replaced with an instrumental no-singing version.
Hopefully this will be the last set-back seen by what should be the best game of this generation so far, universally speaking anyway. Soon we will be exploring the many user-generated worlds of LBP.
In non-patch LBP news, the online servers are up and allowing pre-order codes to be used already. So go unlock your Kratos or Nariko sackboy and sackgirl respectively.
