As specified in my previous LittleBigPlanet post, there was a LBP announcement on the way. This isn’t the actual announcement, but it is news none-the-less. The marketing manager over at SCEA has declared the official LittleBigPlanet news site to be online. He mentions that the site will help to keep people up to date even after the launch of the highly-anticipated game.

The worldwide release date for LittleBigPlanet is currently set at October 2008, with Amazon UK setting the day as the 30th and Amazon US stating the 21st.
