PlayStation fan blog, The Sixth Axis, has posted an interesting article regarding a feature that could debut in LittleBigPlanet. They claimed to have information that suggests multiple user accounts can log in simultaneously whilst playing LBP.
This is a big deal to me. I hate the fact when you play games like Warhawk with some friends locally they can’t even login to their own PS3 accounts. Yes, it’s a feature the Xbox 360 has had forever, so why can’t Sony add this seemingly simple (although in reality probably very hard) to implement function.
Not only will users get to play as their own account and username, there’s a possibility that they may even be able to unlock trophies for their own accounts too. If this is all true, and I’m crossing my fingers it is, then hopefully it will set a trend for other multiplayer games. Maybe we will see another Warhawk patch by the tireless crew over at Incognito.
