Metal Gear Online has managed to reach platinum status, with 1 million online gamer profiles globally. To celebrate this fact, Konami are holding a special “Commemorative Campaign”. The feature will run starts on the 25th of November and will be ending a fortnight later, December 9th.
Any players who log on to their account during this period will receive 10,000 reward points for free. A further 30 people will be selected from those who take part, with each one getting a further 100,000 points. The points can be used to buy additional outfits, items and similar for online characters.
Thos who haven’t already purchased the expansion packs, Gene, will be pleased to know that Konami have confirmed a bundle will be released with both expansion packs for a discounted price. The second expansion, named Meme, is due out sometime before the end of 2008.
