It barely seems like yesterday that Call of Duty: World at War was released and already Infinity Ward are stealing what little limelight they scraped from Modern Warfare.
IW have unveiled their Modern Warfare 2 website, which currently dons a teaser video. Not a great deal can be seen from the fancy flash trailer, but there are two interesting things to note from it:
- The release date is given at the end of the video as 11.10.09 (ha), presumably a US date so 10th of November 09 is the big date then.
- At around 1.11.45 you can clearly see what looks like Perk icons, below is a screen capture of the zoomed in area:
Sneak peak at some Modern Warfare 2 Perks?
The left icon is quite clearly deep impact, the others I’m not so sure about, any ideas let me know in the comments.
One other thing worth mentioning is there is a noticeable lack of “Call of Duty” being mentioned, however it is still in the Trademark at the bottom of the page, are they distancing themselves from the likes of Treyarch?

i saw the teaser and it looks good, im a huge CoD4 fan and world at war was kind of a let down, so i hope this will be better.

i would think the secnond perk from the left looks something like extreme condtioning
but maybe instead of runnin for long periods of time it lets youu run faster?
and the first perk is definatly stopping power dumbass.
ive read from other sites about ideas and im pretty sure the forth perk from the left is decoy,
the perk states that when the enemy has radar the perk will out a red dot on there screen not above you, but it leads to nowhere.
i know the one with two weapons for the icon is called heavy defense and its like juggernaught except it makes it so you cant get shot through a wall.
What looks like 2 swords in the middle could be overkill
Yeah I suppose, two swords instead of one so it makes sense. I never did like the old overkill icon.

cod waw & cod 4 are some to of the best war games i have ever played.
