Monster Hunter is one of those game franchises I hear so much about, but never seem to be able to will up the effort to actually try it. They seem to be a particularly massive hit in Japan, so I presumed that it was like every other JRPG that those guys love so much.
However, after taking a look at the latest iteration of the series, I have to say I’m somewhat tantalised by what I saw. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite was released, like many RPGs, in Japan a year before it sees the light of day in western territories. It is currently scheduled to release on June 23 and 30 for North American and Europe respectively.
Below is a trailer that is currently making the rounds, it looks pretty and all, but I can’t seem to glimpse any gameplay footage.
