Motorstorm was considered one of the show case pieces for the launch of the PS3 and now developers have released some brief details on the up and coming title. According to the BBC Motorstorm 2 will be released around Christmas time and feature an advanced four player split screen mode. Motorstorm 2 will also feature new and exciting tropical locations. Developers are keen to move away from the muddy fields and locations seen in the original.
We were surprised that the BBC got the scoop on this one but from what we can tell the graphics are squeaky clean and the new engine is rock solid. This is pretty much what you would expect from Motorstorm but can they really push the boundaries and bring gamers in a second time round.
