The Rockstar marketing machine goes into overdrive as they release a new web site for GTA IV. The new flashy web site is full of new content for us to drool over. Developers have uploaded lots of new high quality screenshots and videos which give us a further insight into the game. More interestingly there is a section marked as multiplayer but at present has no content. We will be watching this space closely as we are keen to see the full details of the multiplayer online mode. We think announcements for this should feature should be in the next few weeks.
It is certainly easy to get distracted by the new and exciting videos and screenshots but if you spend a little time on the website you will find out lots of interesting information about the game. The site gives you a map layout of the city and provides users with rollovers which display information about certain characters and places. The developers show you just enough to keep you hooked and searching for new clues about the game.
We have to say we are very impressed by the site. We have seen some excellent official sites of late, the most notable being Assassins Creed. The GTA IV site seems to have a certain edge to it and gives visitors a reason to come back.
