Fans of Ninja Gaiden rejoice! Less than 4 months to go before Team Ninja’s ultimate ninja badass is back on Microsoft’s console. After taking a hiatus with Ninja Gaiden Sigma – basically a re-issue of Ninja Gaiden Black for the PS3, Team Ninja have now set a release date of June 3rd.
Tomonobu Itagaki debuted about some new Xbox LIVE features at GDC 08, including the ability to capture and share videos of a player’s glorious & gruesome battles via the Ninja Cinema feature and upload them to Xbox LIVE.
TeamXbox has also spoken about destructible environments, enemies that continue to fight on after losing limbs, greatly improved AI and an even more pumped up gorefest with the use of Obliteration Techniques. All of this adds up to an extremely intense wait until Ninja Gaiden II is released in the summer.
