There’s been plenty of features and leakes from the upcoming sure-to-be-a-hit sequel, Call fo Duty: Modern Warfare 2. New tidbits that range from no dedicated servers for the online modes to third person playlists modes for the multiplayer. All of it has simply helped to push the awareness of Modern Warfare 2, so that the small percentage of the world’s population that hadn’t heard of the game, now does.
The latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ‘outrage’ leak relates directly to the Xbox 360 version of the game, simply because one of the best online features of LIVE (something distinctly missing from the PS3), is being blocked in competitive matches of Modern Warfare 2.
That’s right, a leaked version of the Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 shows a system pop-up that asks if the gamer wants to quit Party Chat or remain in Party Chat and quit the game. It is worth noting that this is an Xbox Dashboard, not an ingame message, so is likely going to appear in future games too.

This is BS. first death streks to help out scrubs then no dedicated servers on the pc version. then a game ending nuke kill streak. and now this.
Screw IW im not buying any version of this game now. I don’t want to talk to random annoying racist people. even if they remove party chat im muting everyone except my friends.
IW fails.
It does seem like an endless chain of mishaps, yet none of them quite enough to stop the masses from buying the game (myself included).
Like yourself, I’ll probably go the route of muting all but friends.
[...] Oh, and another question, do you still want Modern Warfare 2? [...]
This is just ridiculous, poor damn PC gamers can’t have their dedicated servers, who the hell cares? Dedicated server are always full of lag and hackers anyways. I’m still going to buy the game, but taking out party chat was a bit to much. The reason people are in party chat is because game chat is always full of 12 year old little boys that are always bitching about dying etc… I’ll be muting everyone but friends as well, but still. Having to do that after every game because new people join all the time is going to get redundant and annoying.
It would be great if they implemented a ‘Friends Only’ voice option. So it automatically mutes everyone but those on your friends list.
i would like to query the legitimacy off this picture as there are many other circulating the website, from fans that a) don’t like the game b) annoyed about the pc and it’s servers c) are annoyed personally at IW
the party chat has been implemented to work within online play on the COD4 and COD WAW as well as all the other versions in the COD, and nothing has been altered for this so all in all I’m 95% sure that this picture is fake. And don’t forget whoever took this picture is not from IW.
It is probably being circulated by those aforementioned types of site BECAUSE it is authentic, they are most likely using it as anti-cod ammo.
It may not be real and it may even be subject to change if it is real. However, there are rumours coming out that suggest that it may only be certain playlists that are affected by this (e.g. no respawn modes)
