The massively successful Xbox 360 and PC title, BioShock, has finally been given a concrete street date for the PS3. 2K Games, developers of BioShock, have announced the game will debut on October 24 in the European territories. North America will see the title slightly earlier, three days to be exact, on October 21.
I played an hour or so of BioShock on the PC, even if the PlayStation version is only as good as the PC counterpart I would highly recommend adding this title to your ‘to buy’ list.
BioShock is a FPS with a game play twist, which comes in the form of plasmids. To elaborate, plasmids add abilities to your character such as Telekinesis and control over electricity. The story is set around the same time as World War II, but don’t fret, it isn’t just another war FPS. The story puts you in the mind of a man who survives a plane crash in the middle of the sea, who then stumbles upon an underground city called Rapture.
BioShock has a gripping and well-devised storyline that will keep you playing to the end.
