The beautiful game is showing its true colours at the moment with the European championships and now Konami have added to the carnival atmosphere with the release of the new PES2009 screenshots. Now let’s not beat about the bush. PES2008 was utter crap, a real let down in terms of pro evo standards but this time round the footballing machine is lining up to be a real beast.

Konami have had time to sort out the nightmares from 2008 and implement some new ultra cool graphics and playing styles. Details are still very very sketchy but the latest screenshots give us real hope. It’s also interesting that Konami failed to mention Nintendo in their lineup for the new version of PES.
