PixelJunk Monsters has been out for quite a while now.   Everyone should have played and loved this game by now too, but not everyone does.  However, if you are a fan of the game, you will notice that the expansion pack was extremely difficult.  My girlfriend and I managed to finally get the rainbows (perfect score) for each stage, consuming many hours over several weeks.

Well there’s good news if you’re like us, Dylan Cuthbert, President of Q-Games (the people behind PixelJunk Monsters), has spoken out regarding the difficulty problem.  There is going to be a patch released, free of charge, which allows players to choose a different skill levels to play through the game.  This includes an expert setting that will be “harder than the default setting”.

Continuing on with this positive news, Dylan also confirmed that an expansion pack will be coming to PixelJunk Eden.  This is what he had to say…

[For Eden,] we do have lots of ideas for the expansion pack as the  controls are too much fun to waste on just one set of game rules. I’m sure we will try and add a more namby pamby mode  for the “lighter” people out there.
