The Xbox 360 is going through some gloomy times in the Japenese games console hardware market. According to the latest weekly figures, the nine-year-old PlayStation2 outsold the three-and-a-half-year-old Xbox 360. It was by only a few hundred units, but disappointing for Microsoft no less.
The PlayStation 3 continued a streak of dominance, beating out the Wii for the fourth week running. Although the gap between the two seems to be closing every week.
The DSi has overtaken the PlayStation Portable as best selling handheld this week after the PSP has witnessed some very impressive sales numbers. Both handhelds recorded great numbers for this week overall.
