PlayStation Home – Game Launching, More Game Spaces Soon

Well, it’s a good day for PlayStation Home updates. Sticking to my guns in the post a week about keeping you all notified of Home updates and after this mornings Home patch news, I am now posting another article with news on the PS3 social networking service.

Another PlayStation Home Manager (not CydoniaX this time), this time one who goes by the name Locust_Star, has posted an informative item on the official PlayStation 3 forum.

Locust_Star states we can expect to see “spaces for Warhawk, SOCOM, Resistance, and many, many more” in the next few weeks.

Apparently we can expect the EA Sports Complex “sooner rather than later” and goes on to ‘big it up’ saying it is “cooler than you imagined”.

Game launching should be rolled out during this wave of updates. It also seems we can expect unlockable items when we play games from Home and “vice versa”.

The theatre is being expanded to include all sorts of videos “not just trailers”. Whether this means pay-Per-View videos or just game videos I’m not sure.

A few more slightly less important items such as more clothing and styles for avatars, leaderboards, picture frames, more apartments/clubhouses and a host of events/competitions.

The Home Manager concludes by thanking the loyalists and disregarding the pesimists.
