Alex C, aka “nofi”, over at TheSixthAxis has pointed out the Honk Kong PlayStation websites game profile page for Fat Princess, according to which the game has a release date of July 31st 2009.
Publisher and developer websites tend to put these dates on from time to time, sometimes they are estimates and other times they are genuine leaks. Whether this is the former or the latter is unknown at the moment.
We contacted SCEE for confirmation on this and they gave the usual blurb when it comes to this kind of thing:
The release date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Fat Princess is a unique capture the flag type game, which pits up to 32 players in a cartoony world against each other in an attempt to steal chubby little princesses. It is a PlayStation Network exclusive title, although a PSP version, Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake, is also in development.
