The latest firmware for the PlayStation 3 has been released, but don’t get excited just yet, it seems the patch is more of a bug fix than anything else.
The only change officially listed is:
Improves the playback quality of some PS3 format software.
If you were expecting a huge update, full of new features and functions, you should know better. That tends to happen at every 0.1 version change. I can’t wait until they finally reach version 3.0, surely that will turn the PlayStation 3 in to a transformer or something?
Which software (presumably games) is affected by this isn’t even mentioned. Does anyone have any idea of any bugs in games that seem to have been fixed with this latest firmware? If so, let us know in the comments below.
