Whether intentional or accidental, the US electronics retail giant KMart has a promotional banner running on their website homepage with the text “THE RUMOURS ARE REALITY” and “New low price & a new exciting Playstation 3“.
This seems to support all the recent rumours of the new PS3 slim hardware and also the price cut that has been associated with its release. Unfortunately, there’s no pictures of this ‘new exciting Playstation 3′, possibly this is under wraps until Sony’s talk at Gamescom, 6pm BST tonight.
Of course, this might not be a Playstation 3 slim at all, it might just be yet another SKU, with a bigger hard drive or 48 memory card slots or no Blu-Ray (yeah, right).
