PS3 News PSN Getting Street Fight Alpha This Week
Capcom has stated that the arcade classic, Street Fighter Alpha, is getting a revival on the PlayStation Network store this week. Presumably this means it will be in the US only and part of the usual Thursday update, leaving us Europeans with the choice of waiting for SCEE to wake up or using a US-friendly credit card. Alternatively you could just not buy the game in protest, but that’s just pathetic in my opinion.
The full title for the game, which originally hit stores in 1995, is Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors’ Dreams. At the time, it was one of the least popular products from the SF series. The game will feature all the old characters and features, it appears to be a direct port of the original version.
