PSN Store Update (EU) 25/09/08

Everyone got a treat this week, with a big bunch of goodies added to the EU and US PSN Stores. It seems things are a bit more synchronised for this week’s update too, as both stores received several items at the same time for once.

Definite things to check out:

• WipEout HD – At less than 12 quid (just) this is an absolute bargain.
• Burnout Paradise – If you liked the previous instalments or fancy a car game with a twist then I recommend this – although you can get it cheaper at some online retailers (Play.com offers the Blu-Ray version for the same price)
• Mega Man 9 – Not for everyone and I haven’t personally tried it yet, but from what I hear it lives up to its gaming-ancestors. There is a demo so you can try it first anyway.

The Mercenaries 2 demo is now also on the EU store (the US got it last week), so give that a go too. The usual videos and themes are up for those who want them as well.
