Not much more of an update for North America compared to the European one. In fact, I daresay the European update was equal, aside from the Mercenaries 2 demo of course. Actually, that demo makes a big difference as I have been undecided on the game since it came out and was hoping the demo would be available sooner rather than later.
In case you aren’t sure of what Mercenaries 2 is, it’s the sequel to the high-ranking shooter where you play a crack team of renegade soldiers who are available for hire. EA are publishing the game and have performed a few public stunts in an attempt to advertise the game, including “hijacking” a London petrol station and giving away fuel for free (£15,000 worth, which is probably one car full at the moment).
The US PSN store also features the Fracture demo, which I highly recommend, see more here. A few videos and PSP games are also there to buy if that’s what you want, but they aren’t very good ones.
Finally, there is a temporary price cut in place on the Call of Duty 4 Map Pack, now up for only 5 US dollars, bargain!
