The US PSN store update is on par with the EU PSN one, receiving the Ratchet & Clank game and STAR WARS The Force Unleashed demo. As mentioned in the European store update post, I am very keen to try out both of these pieces of software.
The US also received a similar batch of Leipzig videos, although just a little bit watered down in the number of trailers available. Damn right too, the EU store got nowhere near as many E3 videos as the US store for this year’s show.
In addition to the items mentioned above, several themes and wallpapers also make their generic debut. Guitar Hero and Rock Band tracks have been updated as per usual as well.
One last little mention is for The Last Guy demo, it’s a quirky game that uses real satellite images as its game interface. You play a pixel-sized guy taking on a bunch of rampaging monsters in real-world locations. I can’t make my mind up on this one, the concept is great but the trailers do not intrigue me in the slightest. Ah well, that’s what demos are for I suppose.
