The official PlayStation Blog has been updated with some information for Resistance 2. There was quite a bit of info to wade through, so I’ll try to summarise it neatly.
First of all, the North American public beta has kicked off, with the likes of Qore subscribers and those with certain pre-orders getting immediate beta codes.
To (almost) coincide with the game testing being opened up, the beta version of the Resistance 2 community and stat-tracking website, beta.myresistance.net, will be live shortly (by the end of October 16th).
The blog also contains an image, which you can see below, that details play time we can expect out of the Resistance 2 Co-operative modes. It will take up to a day’s worth of playing time just to fully unlock all the offline co-op features. This time increases exponentially when you take the game online, with up to 225 hours of game play being suggested as the required time to maximise all the classes’ stats.

Resistance 2 Co-op Play Time
The blog finishes up by declaring that Resistance 2 has now officially gone gold. So all looks well for the Nov 4 and Nov 28 release dates for the US and Europe respectively.
