That’s right folks the award winning PS3 exclusive, Resistant the Fall of Man 2 is on its way and Insomniac Games have released a load of new screenshots into the community for us to feast our eyes on. This time round the Chimera invasion moves to the shores of America and epic battles are set to take place in cities such as San Francisco and Chicago. Lets hope Insomniac Games take a little more care this time about choosing locations to stage its battles in. We all remember the Manchester Cathedral saga over the first game.
It’s difficult to judge these early screenshots because little work has been done on the game so far. At present it doesn’t seem like the game has been given much of a visual upgrade but the locations certainly intrigue us. The set pieces remind us a little of Halo. The real excitement and hype is around the games features. Developers Insomniac Games have not officially announced any of the games features but speculation is rife in the games community.

According to Playstation Magazine the game is set to feature two story modes. The single player and co-op version of the game will feature two different story modes to keep gamers playing the title for many months. We are rather suspect about this because it is unlikely that Insomniac Games have time to develop two completely unique storylines. If they do it might lead to a rushed game.
The other big shocker is 60 player battles online. Can you imagine the scale of the maps and the sheer processing power of the gaming servers for this to happen. Surely no current title could compare to this. The battlefields would be scattered with broken bodies and fallen comrades. Also some new characters will appear in the title and some of the existing aliens will be toned down to be given a more generic feel.
