PS3 Price Cut March 22nd?
The rumour that never goes away. The PlayStation 3 seeing it’s premium price tag getting reduced to a more affordable sum. Sony have feverishly denied every hint at a price cut for the last year and a half. So far, they have held true to their word.
However, that hasn’t stopped what must be the thousandth unique PS3 price cut rumour. This time it was an employee in the US based EB Games, who apparently told someone from the 2old2play community about a $99 price reduction.
The employee claimed that starting March 22nd, the 80GB PlayStation 3 console will have a retail price of $300, nearly 25% cheaper than the current price.
Fingers crossed, butt keeping my hopes low on this one.
