Following hot on the heels of the last PS3 price cut rumour, another contender is in the rumour ring. This time it is the United Kingdom that might be seeing the light of cheaper PlayStation3’s.
CVG are reporting on a supposed price reduction on the PS3 in the UK. Apparently, the source for this information is a “major hight street retailer”, who said that both the PS3 and PSP will be getting a friendlier price tag very soon.
Two price cut rumours in one day. Is this a sign of some truth behind these rumours? With the GDC 2009 starting on Monday, it wouldn’t be surprising if Sony chose that time to announce cheaper PlayStation3’s for all.
Saying that, it would be equally unsurprising if these rumours turned out to be a load of made up tosh, inspired by GDC 09
