Sony Takes Out its Dirty Laundry

It looks like Sony have been doing a bit of spring cleaning recently and has decided to scrap Getaway and 8 days which were both in development for PS3. The two games were highlighted in an internal review which sore every title in Sony’s line-up reviewed. Sony has claimed that redistribution of resources and budgets were needed to cope with the demands of more exclusive titles. Unfortunately Getaway and * days were seen as the big galoots in the pack.

Its certainly a strange one but hardly a big shock as we have seen and heard very little of the titles for some time now. It is also suggested that Sony will never bring back the two franchises and that they have been scrapped for good. With the long list of decent titles on the books it looks like the right decision.
