There’s been a distinct lack of Square Enix’s presence on the PlayStation this generation. There have been a few Japanese PS3 releases, such as White Night Chronicles, but none of which have made it to Europe at this time.
If you were hoping for some good news regarding The Last Remnant development for the PlayStation 3 at GDC, you’re going to be disappointed I’m afraid.
Square Enix had the following response to questions about the PS3 version:
“Well, as for the PS3 version, I can’t say anything about that.”
The Last Remnant has been out on the Xbox 360 for months and was recently released on the PC. We were originally told that the PS3 would carry a delayed release. You’ve got to wonder if this might end up being a permanent delay after the somewhat poor reviews given to the other variations.
