The Bully Is Back
The spirit of school lives on with the latest edition of Bully. Bully Scholarship edition was recently released and we have finally got our hands on a copy. In this latest edition you assume the role of 15 year old tearaway Jimmy Hopkins. Jimmy has been placed in the primary care of Bullsworth Academy, a school for misfits. The typical social divides exist within Bullsworth and it takes no time at all for Jimmy to settle in.
Bully is set in an average school day and Jimmy is awoken at 8 o clock each morning. This gives him the opportunity to explore the school grounds and surroundings before 9 o clock lessons. Once in lessons Jimmy is set a series of mini tasks in which he is expected to complete. All tasks within the game unlock some kind of feature which gives Jimmy new and exciting options. Bully plays very much like Grand Theft Auto. There are simply a number of ways to play the game and unlock new features. The way in which you perform a task affects your social standing within the school. The opportunities in this game are endless.
After playing the game for around a week now it is clear that Bully does not push any boundaries in terms of graphics and gameplay but yet it is a thoroughly enjoyable game. You cant help but feel that you are in some way letting out your bullying fantasies. The game just grips you and we loved the pupil to pupil combat. Who wouldn’t enjoy beating the crap out of some posh American scally.
If you are looking for a humerous GTA style game then this is for you. The sheer size of the game means you can fritter away hours and hours on this game and play it at your own pace.
