Its been a while since we heard from our old friend Tenchu. Many of you will of course remember Tenchu Stealth Assassin on Playstation well anyway the kick ass ninja is back. The original was quite simply a great game and a crap game rolled into one. I never thought much of the storyline of the character animations in the original but found it extremely amusing to sit on ledges and through ninja dart thingys at the small Chinese guys. I think it was made all the much better by there ridiculous costumes. If you have not played the original, go and get it. Be worth about a fiver now. Good deal we think.
Anyway, the Tenchu series is back with a new instalment and this time it is a Nintendo Wii exclusive. We are both excited and disappointed by this news. We of course love the PS3 so not being able to play it on that platform is disappointing however the Nintendo Wii has one huge advantage. That is of course the controller. We definitely want to see a sword style remote for this game. Teenages should put down there flick knifes and get hold of a Nintendo Wii sword. This accessory will be something else. Can you imagine walking down the street minding your own business when you notice in the window of a household some old dad swinging a crazy sword remote around while making rather alarming noises. This game has got classic written all over it.
Maybe some new weapons should also be bought in. Maybe they could bring in some other controller weapon options. A bottle of acid or a throwing ninja dart would be cool. We could see accidents happening with these.
We are just widely speculating here on what could be done as little detail has been given on the game. We will no doubt have a list of moves and tricks coming and a bundle of screen shots for you. In the mean time go and get the old version.
