Tom Clancy Goes Flying

Tom Clancy goes flying in his latest title HAWX. This is not what we would usually expect from Tom Clancy as he is usually stuck to rolling around in the mud blowing peoples legs off. Despite this unauthordox approach we were keen to see what the developers where going to throw at us. So far we have one small screenshot, however it looks absolutely stunning. The awesome F-16 fighter plane can be seen heading towards the heavens with ferocious speed.

Of what we have been told so far Hawx is not expected to be a standard pc style flight sim and the game will contain the cross com system for calling units and controlling there movements. Ubisoft have also come up with different control systems for different manoeuvres and weapon firing. They also made up some really stupid names for the different aspects of the fighter jet.

In typical fashion, Hawx is set in the future in 2012 and sees gamers playing a kind of peace keeping role as rival military companies try to push the world to the brink of war. Your job is essentially to blow every sucker out the sky. In your mission to bring world peace you will be given the opportunity to fly over 50 planes.

This is not your typical game from Ubisoft but we are excited to see what will come out of the camp. We will bring you more details when we have them.
