It seems that despite being less than a week old on the market, the newest iteration of Sony’s handheld has already received a price cut. A number of major high street (and online) retailers, including Amazon and GAME, are now selling the PSP Go below the more attractive, yet still absurdley expensive, £200 mark – featuring a £25 reduction in the MSRP price.
Is this a bad sign for the little UMD-less PlayStation Portable? Not according to Sony who say sales are meeting their expectations and are pleased with the results so far.
Is this new price enticing enough for you? Is it justified when you can get the PSP-3000 for £80 in some stores now? Or maybe you’d rather spend the same and get an Xbox 360 elite with two games, or even get the new PS3 Slim with 2 games for just a little bit more.
