There is a new open world video game on the horizon and it intends to put the sin back into sin city. Vegas is a huge open world game set in Vegas and allows gamers to play out there Vegas fantasies such as fighting, gambling, driving, drugs, drinking and of course strippers. The game begins with a megalomaniac with a fat cheque book arriving into the city of sin with an ideology of turning Vegas into a more family friendly place. Obviously this is something that nobody wants so your job is to restore order by carrying out all the acts that a typical male would do in Vegas. This means you will have to throw spectacular parties to revive the night life, carry out shady business dealings, fist fights and of course ensuring the odds turn in your favour.
We are certainly intrigued by the idea behind this game and think this could be a very successful game. Whether it can compete with GTA IV is another thing all together. The game is going to have to deliver something unique in order to draw gamers in. The game will appear on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC and is expected later this year.
The developers have been kind enough to release a trailer and a batch of new screenshots this week for you to check out. The trailer offers very little but looks great. We will keep our eye on this one.
