Sorry for yet another post on trophy patches guys and gals. But Sony and the game devs (developers) have been hard at work, resulting in the addition of one more trophy-patched game to the list. This time it’s Warhawk that gets the honour.
Despite being well over a year old, Warhawk continues to be one the more popular online PS3 games. The devs are doing a great job of keeping the community active, releasing patches regularly, even after all this time. It was left than a month since the last update (v1.4), which added to new game modes called “Collection” and “Hero”.
According to ps3fanboy, the next patch enables users to obtain a lot of trophies, 57 of them to be precise. A full list can be found at the link above and in the soon-to-be-released ‘Trophy Section’ of this website. One of the most interesting, yet unannounced, features of the patch is derived from selected trophies in the list:
- That Was Some Bug — Kill an enemy who is flying a jetpack by hitting him with any vehicle or aircraft.
- Aerial Ballet — While flying a jetpack, kill an enemy (who is also flying a jetpack) with any weapon other than the Rocket Launcher.
- Are You Aim-Botting? — Snipe an enemy who is flying a jetpack.
Unless our eyes deceive us, these items suggest that jetpacks are making the way on to Warhawk. I think this feature alone would bring back any fans that have strayed over the last year. Admittedly I have played less and less as months went by, but I know this is enough to entice me back to the dogfight. The trophies would also seem to show you can shoot whilst drifting through the sky, so heads up on those grenades people.
The newest patch will be version 1.5 and is due for release on August 27th.

Excellent, i haven’t really played Warhawk that much recently myself, but this is reason enough to start playing again! Jetpacks are gonna make for some interesting games, it’l be fun seeing people flying around the maps on jetpacks! rofl.
